Dear Friend,
We are crossing over! We are going forward! God has a plan! Do you
realize that believers in Jesus Christ have an advantage that the
world does not have? So many times we can look at the lives of the
lost and envy their good fortune. They may have an uncanny ability
to make money. Maybe they're making things work rather than working
for things. Maybe they get by on their personality. You know, it
doesn't matter what their advantage seemingly may be. Believers have
an advantage that seems almost unfair. What is our advantage? All
things work together for our good! (Romans 8:28) We really can't
fail if we're seeking to do God's will!
What is it that's able to stop us from
being a success in the kingdom of God? Nothing! There's not one
thing that evil can do that can destroy us! Oh, we may look at
situations and repeat what they say to us. "You're not going to
make it through this. It's going to take you out. You'll never
survive." Failure starts in our thinking. When we begin to
think failure is when Satan has opportunity. He wants to get us
stirred over something. You see, we're all good preachers if we get
stirred up enough! We'll make sure that everyone hears what we
believe at that moment! Anyone can echo! Why not start the echo!
Tell failure that you're a success!
Even when it looks as if we have suffered
absolute failure, our Lord still makes it work to our good! I
know that may not make sense. But it still works that way! You've
got to understand that when we see failure, God sees success! He
wants us depending on Him to get through! That is the greatest
success we can have! That we fulfill His desire! That should cause
those who are lost to become intrigued and envious when they see our
success! There's nothing that can compare to the goodness of the
Lord! Others should see it in our lives! We have a reason to
rejoice! No matter what comes our way...He is our success!
Why should we envy the world's appearances?
After all, appearances are deceiving. I love Proverbs 24:16..."for
though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again, but the
wicked are brought down by calamity." We are crossing
over! God has a plan! He knows where He is leading us! I know this
one thing...God is in complete control! If you're a believer, you
can rejoice today that God is your success!
