Dear Friend,
It's time to call forth the new! Yes! Call forth the new! What has God spoken to you? What has He spoken to you about your future? What has he spoken to you in your heart? What has He said to you in your dreams? Are you ready to see it happen in your life? Destiny is waiting for you!
Jesus said He was going to prepare a place for you. It's a place of destiny for you that where He is you could be also. He is a king. He is a ruler! Not just any king or ruler. He is the King whose kingdom rules over all! He wants you to rule in the place that He is preparing you for. What is it that you know that He has been preparing and may still be preparing in you?
When there is an imminent change ahead, we must let go of the old and embrace the new. Though we are departing from what has been, we should not forget or abandon what we have learned. To embrace the new, we must be flexible to allow God to unfold the new before us. Don't reject it because you don't understand it!
Remember..."the just shall live his faith".
Now the Lord said to Samuel, "How long will you mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go; I am sending you to Jesse the Bethlehemite. For I have provided Myself a king among his sons." 1 Samuel 16:1
In the prophet Samuel's situation, the grace of God was no longer on the old established ruling order but moving on to the new. Transition was needed without question. Samuel had been mourning over the insufficiency of the old because He knew it did not have what was needed to be successful in the present or next season. He mourned because of disappointment.
Often, the disappointment is because we are emotionally attached to the past place of ruling. We're familiar with it. We are comfortable with it. We have it figured out. But God wants to build and add to our experience and ability! He wants to reward our availability! When God begins to release a fresh, new grace to your life, that which was reigning will not only lose it's appeal but also it's ability to continue to reign. It's time to call forth the new! Focus on the future! There is always destiny to be realized!
Samuel was stuck in "what could have been". Through his condition of mourning, he needed God to speak to him. He needed not only the direction for the future but also the present. In his state of mind, he had no oil in His horn for the present. God is saying "fill your horn with oil"! It's time for a fresh new anointing!
My horn You have exalted like a wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil.
Psalm 92:10
God is preparing exaltation to the next place of reigning for you! You must enter into it! You must call it forth in your prayers, spiritual posturing, attitude and actions! You will have to respond just as Samuel did. He filled his horn and obeyed God by going to anoint David. His action brought about the change. He called forth the next ruling order into action! It's time for you to call it forth!
God wants you reigning as a king in Christ. Don't look back. Look forward. Where you are headed does not look like where you have been. Follow without hesitation. Be flexible! Though we learn from old experiences, we must continue to go in our destiny! We become our destiny as a result of the old and new foundational truths, anointings and experiences.
Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old. Matthew 13:52
Don't forget what you have learned and experienced but go on into new places in Christ! It's time to call forth the new! I'm calling it forth! How about you?
Until we meet again, we are...
