Dear Friend,
I am committed to the will of God! How about you? I thought so! Do you really know where you stand? Get your footing. Many in this time are not sure where they stand. Friend, I know where I stand and in Whom I believe. Let me encourage your heart.
God is in the midst of a great transformation in mind and heart of all believers in Christ. What we have held onto and held dear is being shaken. Our faith in man
and man's ways is being challenged as we see the frailty of humanity exposed for what it is. Answerless.
There is an exposing and uprooting of ungodly tactics used in our churches. There is a great reformation of thought and lifestyle upon us. As a result, people are losing faith in "church". Some have turned their backs and hearts away from the local church. Some have remained there and not progressed in the transition. We should be turning our hearts to the Father. Relationship with the Lord and His people is being emphasized.
In the midst of transition, between what we know and where we are headed, we must realize that uncertainty is the greatest area of advantage our enemy uses for engagement. Why is that? Because in the transition, our steps are not always calculated. We must have sure-footed steps. We must know where we stand. Certain footing must be achieved if we are to succeed to the other side. We have been given direction to go there! God has spoken change into the earth. He will continue to expect to see it come to pass.
We must resolve in our hearts that God is for us and that He is faithful no matter what comes our way. No matter what is shaken. Even when we do not understand the "whys". God is still faithful! We must come to this place of resolution and
saying;
"I am committed to and thankful for the will of God and His purposes in my life as an individual."
"I am committed to and thankful for the will of God and His purposes in my life as a member of my family."
"I am committed to and thankful for the will of God and His purposes in my life as a member of my local church."
"I am committed to and thankful for the will of God and His purposes in my life as a member of the Body of Christ - The Church."
"I am committed to and thankful for the will of God and His purposes in my life as a member and partaker of the Kingdom of God."
In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
1 Thessalonians 5:18
The world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. 1 John 2:17
In all five realms, we must know where we stand. Then we must plant our feet. Victory is assured. Greater effectiveness is on the way. As God transforms our thinking, we will be better equipped to "be" the Church and to "do" what we are called to do.
Be encouraged! God is for you and with you. Say it out loud, "I am committed to Christ!"
Until we meet again, we are...
