Building - Your Life

Dear Friend,

This is a season of restoration! God is in restoring all things. He's interested in your life. Your life is just as important to Him as that overall restoration.

While God is restoring apostles and prophets to a place of prominence, position or title is not an area of importance in regard to building. Although these things do have their place. What is vitally important is the anointing that they carry. This anointing is needed for the saints to be matured. We are corporately headed to higher heights of maturity in the Body of Christ. Though we often prefer blessing, God is stressing proper building.

God is releasing the apostolic anointing in a fresh way. One of the functions of that anointing is to build. Apostle Paul wrote, "According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it." 1 Corinthians 3:10

There are many different areas of building that this foundational grace of God works in. Let's consider some basic areas of building. Foundations are a major area of concern in building. If the foundation is incomplete or unstable, it is unsuitable for completing the rest of the work. Wisdom is a required tool to build. Relationship with the Lord is an important aspect and first step in building your life.

"But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand." Matthew 7:26

Foundational strength in our lives requires basic obedience. In the times that we are in, we must realize that inner strength comes from building our lives. In order to build, we cannot reap the rewards of God without obedience to God. In times of adversity, I would rather not find out that the strength I had was not enough. "My food," said Jesus, "is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work." John 4:34

Build on stone. Being inconsistent in our obedience will cause weakness in foundational areas of our lives. Consistency causes a reserve of strength. Every decision has to be viewed as vital to our relationship with the Lord. In seeking to hear God's voice, we must respond in all areas that He requires of us. He cannot be heeded in one area and ignored in another if we expect to build our relationship with Him. Progression requires it.

"Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life." Proverbs 4:23

The heart is the center of life. The forces of our life flow out of it. Settling internal personal issues removes hindrances of the heart. No matter what the source, suppression only causes instability. The source of our hindrance is really not the issue. The issue is that those things that are unresolved cause relational problems between us and our God and others. Interactivity is not at its best. Impartation to others does not reach its potential. Build your life by healing and deliverance if it is needed. Be the best you can be! You are important!

Let us experience the restoring that He has for us!

Until we meet again, we are...
