Dear Friend,
1998 is here! Look over your shoulder and wave goodbye to 1997! This
is your year! Keep the faith! God is moving for those who are
believing Him! I have been excited about the Lord has been saying to
me about this new year. Expect, expect, expect!
1998 is the year of "New
Beginnings" for the Church! It shall be a time when the
preparation process of God that we have gone through up to this time
shall come to the stage of "Culmination". We shall see the
strategic release of God’s order upon the body of Christ as the
restorational season of the Apostolic ministry explodes in the
earth. This season shall be marked by an overwhelming increase of
miracles in the financial realm and in the physical realm (2
Corinthians 12:12). The reaper shall surely overtake the sower in
this time.
God is looking for those who will dare to
stand in this hour knowing that they have been born for such a time
as this. God’s people shall be in position - "Activate in
‘98". The days of constant training will be concluding as
real life, active-duty, military mobilization shall begin (Joel
3:9-10). Those who have been trained will pick up the weapons they
have been trained in and go forward without the excuses of the past.
Relate, duplicate, delegate then elevate.
We will become more relational minded not only with those in the
church but also within the communities. God will cause a new
anointing of mentoring to be released. This mentoring ability will
be a release of the apostolic father’s heart anointing that shall
permeate the apostolic and prophetic people (Malachi 3:5-6). We will
truly know those who labor among us. Promotion from within the ranks
shall come to those who have been faithful in the time of training
and testing.
True sons and daughters shall be elevated
with delegated authority in ’98. A hunger for the harvest shall
consume them. A "finishing" anointing shall come upon them
to complete His work (John 4:34). A "spoiling" anointing
shall drive them to possess the land (Isaiah 57:13b). God shall give
His heart for our communities. Whole cities will begin to be taken
as those who have been tried in the fire receive their reward. Their
anointing shall be accompanied with fresh ideas and innovative
strategies (1 Corinthians 3:14)!
Church as usual will become a thing of the
past as we "Accelerate in 98"! God will accelerate
everything that it takes to accomplish His plan. Everything is in
place, now it’s time to move forward at an unprecedented rate.
We shall experience "Open Floodgates
in ‘98"! That which held back the outpouring that God wants
to release shall no longer be in the way (Psalm 24:7-8). The Heavens
shall remain open over us and the outpouring shall touch all
the land. God will reveal Himself to His people in ways that they
have not known Him (Jeremiah 33:3). Signs , miracles and wonders
shall be the expected norm for those who have stood in the midst of
the current wind of God. Expect, expect, expect!
We have been in a day where that which has
been built on our foundations has been exposed by adversity (1
Corinthians 3:13). It's been a time of going back to the
foundational basics of prayer, fasting and life according to the
Word of God. He's been shaking the Church to separate the goat
mentality out of the sheep (Deuteronomy 23:14). Now He will begin
"shaking the world" systems (1Peter 4:17). They’ll know
that His kingdom rules over all. He's positioning us to be ready for
harvesting! A shaken people need a sure foundation!
I saw a vision of a knife being laid on a
whetstone. The oil was on the stone and on the blade’s edge. The
angle had been adjusted and the pressure had been applied. The
expectancy of the sharpening stroke rose within me as I saw the Lord
ready with anticipation to put a new finely sharpened, razor edge to
the body of Christ.
